Policies

  • Virtue Salon kindly asks for a 48 hour notice for any change or cancellation.

When a No-Show/Late Cancellation occurs, it takes large blocks of time that impact our hairdressers and other guests. When an appointment is missed and we are not notified, you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service. If your appointment is cancelled within 48 hours you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.

*If you cannot get through to one of our Salon Coordinators, please leave a message that you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment and we will get back with you as soon as possible.

     Thank you for your consideration!

  • We understand life is crazy and things happen. However, if you are running more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may have to be rescheduled. We will do what we can to get you in as soon as we can.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you're going to be late.  No-Show & Cancellation Policy may be applied. (See above policy)

  • We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and strive to ensure that every guest who leaves Virtue Salon is 100% satisfied. However, if you find that you are unhappy with the end result of your service, we would be more than happy to make any needed adjustments to your hair if you contact us within one week of your last appointment. Please note that Virtue Salon does not offer complimentary services as a result of a change of mind or direction with haircuts or color.

  • If you are not 100% satisfied with your product purchase, you can either return or exchange it within 30 days from purchase.

  • Because of our limited space in our locations, we ask that you come alone to your appointment. If there are accommodations needed, please let our front desk staff know. We are happy to support and accommodate you in any way. Your comfort, as well as our employees’, is one of our biggest priorities and having the space to create that calm environment is so important.

For children’s services, read our children’s policy below.

  • As a community focused salon, Virtue Salon welcomes families and children. However, due to safety considerations, children of all ages will not be permitted in the salon if they are not receiving a service. If a parent brings a child to the salon during the parent’s service, the service will need to be rescheduled at a later time when the child is not accompanying the parent.

In the case of a child coming in to receive a service, to ensure the safety of the children and guests at Virtue Salon, we will refuse service if a child will not sit still for a haircut. The liability is too great for Virtue Salon to assume responsibility for children in an environment that has many dangers present for children.

  • The only animals permitted inside of Virtue Salon’s premises are approved service dogs. Law of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology permits no other animals within the salon. We can’t allow them inside, and we don’t want you to leave them in the car, so please, leave them at home.

  • Clintonville:

As parking is sometimes an issue on one of Columbus's busiest roads, we like to remind our guests that parking is available on both Longview and Como Avenues as well as down the street in the parking lot of Clinton Heights Lutheran Church. Please note if there is an event taking place at the Church, use on-street parking in respect of our parking agreement with our kind neighbors.

-Parking on High Street is limited to 2 hours.

-Please do not park in the small lot 2 doors south of Virtue Salon. You may be towed.

    Brewery District:

There is 2 hour parking on most streets around our Brewery District location. We have a small parking lot along the south side of our building for guests of Virtue Salon. We ask that these spots be used for long services such as hair coloring.
