Kristen got her start at Virtue working as a salon coordinator. After realizing her own passion for the hair industry and getting licensed, Kristen began her journey behind the chair. Now with years of experience, she is in love with all things haircutting—pixies, bobs, layers, and bangs! She is also excellent at blonding services that help her guests achieve their hair goals while preserving the health of their hair. Joy was a model for our Pop-Up photoshoot event with Kate Sweeney in 2018 when she knew Virtue was where she wanted to be. A patient listener, she takes the time to thoroughly understand her guests’ goals and creates confidence in others through making their hair vision a reality.

Jasmine is a vibrant, outgoing member of the team at Virtue--she loves to meet new people! Her people skills and communication superpowers allow her to perform a killer consultation and really understand her guests' hair goals. She is an expert at styling natural & curly hair textures, short haircuts, lived-in color looks, and bright pops of color.

A master of many skills, Liz enjoys plenty of variety behind the chair. This includes any hair texture, precision cuts, lived-in shapes & colors, natural or experimental looks. Her favorite part of being part of the team at Virtue is the creative but comfortable atmosphere. Outside of the salon, Liz spends time with her plants and her family, reads, and tries new restaurants.

Rachel is an expert at making her guests feel comfortable and listened to in her chair! Radiating positivity herself, she also loves all of the different personalities and energy being directed toward common goals inside Virtue Salon. She loves to expand her hair knowledge and is always looking out for new techniques that she can use to make her guests’ hair color dreams a reality. Rachel loves tackling fun color projects–especially when the goal is a bright, vivid fantasy color. Outside of work, she likes to go thrift shopping, work on craft projects, and spend time with her friends and family.

Dessi joined the team at Virtue in 2022 as a seasoned hairdresser. A lover of chocolate, outdoor patios, and live music, she brings a vibrant energy to the space she’s in. Her favorite services are full dimensional blonding, any and every type of haircut, and big transformational services that boost her guest’s confidence.

Hannah is the ultimate funky cat lady. She effortlessly pulls off being creative & eccentric yet extremely easy to talk to. Hannah loves to flex her talents behind the chair in the form of bold fashion colors and edgy mullets, shags, and pixie cuts. She loves being a part of the larger community of Virtue & beyond. Being close to Pistacia Vera never hurts! When she's not making hair magic, she loves to read, indulge in Renaissance-themed activities, and spend time with her three precious cat-children.

Brady joined the team at Virtue straight out of hair school. His favorite activities behind the chair include any and all blonding services. His easy going but upbeat demeanor follows him outside of work, where he can be found going for runs, playing volleyball, or eating at restaurants.

Stormie is a perfect balance of chill, talented, and creative. Her years behind the chair have allowed her to discover her passion for making her guest's hair color dreams a reality. She is skilled in a variety of color techniques, including soft & lived-in looks as well as bright, edgy fashion colors. Outside of the salon, Stormie's creative outlets include listening to music, thrifting, and trying new foods.

Sarah came to Virtue as an up-and-coming hairdresser passionate about community, continued education, and blonding. She loves learning new ways to improve her guests' experience in the chair. One of her favorite things about working with hair and people is getting to know the people that visit her during their services. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her dog and loved ones, reading, and soaking up the great outdoors with a bike ride or hike.

Jolie decided to turn her love of doing hair into her career in 2023 and has not looked back since! She joined the team at Virtue ready to make an impact by working at a salon that is environmentally-conscious and community-oriented. She loves crafting customized blonding and balayage services for her guests as well as enhancing each person's natural texture in their haircut. She loves to help her guests have some fun with their hair and doesn't shy away from a vivid color or a shag haircut! Outside of the salon, she pursues other crafty hobbies, including knitting, crochet, and baking. As a transplant to Columbus, she also spends her time in search of local antique & plant shop gems.

Kayla joined the team at Virtue right out of cosmetology school, eager to continue her hair education. Nestled among the supportive teammates and eye-catching decor, Kayla has gained a new confidence behind the chair. Her dream work day includes plenty of layered, textured haircuts and some fun vivid colors. Outside of work, she loves to experience live music and spend time with her friends, family, dog, and many houseplants.
