We’ve all been there. We go blonde, then a month later we realize our personality is truly a brunette. We’re human. We change our minds. Much of the time, dramatic changes can impact the health of hair. That’s where Olaplex comes in.
Adding Olaplex to salon services can save your hair from the damage caused by some of the treatments, even when the change’s aren’t significant.
The creators of Olaplex break down how it benefits our hair:
What is Olaplex?
Olaplex reconnects broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair. Hair bonds are broken during thermal, mechanical and chemical services. Olaplex is free of silicone, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, aldehydes, and is never tested on animals.
What does this mean for my hair?
By adding Olaplex to your color formula, you don’t have to worry about compromising the integrity of your hair. In those situations where you want to go lighter, but have worried about the damage it may cause to your hair, now you can move forward, and stress less. Olaplex makes the hair stronger, healthier, and helps the color stay longer. At Virtue, we love adding it into lightener, color, toner, and smoothing treatments!
Is there anything I need to do after I leave the salon?
Due to bonds being continuously broken within the hair through thermal styling, mechanical styling or continued color / perm / relaxer services, the integrity, strength, shine and softness will dissipate in a few weeks to a month dependent on how the hair is cared for, therefore, you will be sent home with a bottle of the Hair Perfector. This is a very easy step, you simply apply a generous amount to wet towel-dried hair and leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes, then rinse, shampoo and condition.
Olaplex is truly a miracle product. For more information about Olaplex, visit www.Olaplex.com or to schedule a consultation, call us at 614-725-2329.
