No-Show & Cancellation
We love our stylists and we know you do too. That’s why we ask for consideration of our No-Show Policy. When a no-show occurs, it takes large blocks of time that impact our stylists and other guests. We understand that sometimes things happen. For this reason, we permit one no-show appointment.
Following a no-show appointment:
- We notify the guest by phone of the missed appointment and of our policy.
- When an appointment is missed we require a deposit towards your next scheduled appointment- $75 for haircolor and $25 for haircut.
- The next appointment cannot be scheduled without the deposit.
- The deposit is applied directly to the future appointment. In the event of a late cancellation(including missing appoitments due to late arrival) or missed appointment, the deposit will be non-refundable and non-transferable to other appointments.
If a guest cancels less than 4 hours prior to a service, this policy also applies.
We understand, life is crazy and things happen. However, if you are running more than 10 minutes late according to our clock, the appointment may have to be rescheduled. We will do what we can to get you in as soon as we can. Please let us know as soon as possible if your going to be late. No-Show & Cancellation Policy may be applied. (See above policy)
Haircut & Color Adjustments
If there is something that you do not love about your cut or color, we want to make it perfect for you. Please contact the salon within one week of your original service and we will gladly do what it takes to make it perfect for you!
New Guest Haircolor Services
We require a complimentary consultation prior to all new guest haircolor services. This consultation allows the Stylist and the guest to discuss the vision and pricing for the haircolor service.
Once the consultation is completed, the haircolor service can be scheduled for a later date. In order to reserve a time for a haircolor service, Virtue Salon requires a deposit of $75.00 to secure the reservation. This $75.00 is applied directly to the future haircolor service. In the event of a late cancelation or missed appointment, the deposit will be non-refundable and will not be applied to any future appointments.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your product purchase, you can either return or exchange it within 30 days from purchase. A full refund will be given as long as it is within the 30-day window.
As a community focused salon, Virtue Salon welcomes families and children. Please remember, however, that our salon is not a childproof environment. Many hot tools and sharp objects are being used at all times in addition to being next to a very busy road. To ensure the safety of the children and guests at Virtue Salon, we will refuse service if a child will not sit still for a haircut for safety reasons. If a parent brings a child (during the parent’s reserved service time) and the child is left unattended or is causing the service to exceed scheduled time, the service will need to be rescheduled at a later time when the child is not present. The liability is too great for Virtue Salon to assume responsibility for children that are unattended. We aim to keep Virtue’s environment as relaxing as possible for our guests, so please keep this in mind if your children must accompany your visit.
As parking is sometimes an issue on one of Columbus's busiest roads we like to remind our guests that parking is available on both Longview and Como roads as well as down the street in the parking lot of Clinton Heights Lutheran Church. Please note if there is an event taking place at the Church, use on-street parking in respect of our parking agreement with our kind neighbors.
Animals and Pets in the Salon
The only animals permitted inside of Virtue Salon’s premises are approved service dogs. Law of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology permits no other animals within the salon. We can’t allow them inside, and we don’t want you to leave them in the car, so please, leave them at home.
